ABOUT THE NZINGA CREATIVE ARTS CENTER:
The Nzinga Creative Arts Center (NCAC) was established in the spring of 2009 by Marina to provide programs for children and adults that nurture and support self-expression, promote healthy lifestyles, and offers educational dialogues and lectures on topics that impact the black community. It is named in honor of the Angolan Queen Nzinga (1583-1663); a brilliant, courageous, resilient, and brave strategist who became renowned for never accepting the Portuguese conquest of her country, Angola.
The center is located at 3218 Benard Avenue, in the Historic district of NoDa in Charlotte, NC.
